Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a maintenance technician for our distribution center. You will maintain and repair facility equipment, follow PM standards, and report inventory usage while supporting DC operations.

Role requires 3–5 years of experience, welding and electrical/PLC knowledge, and ability to lift 75 lbs. Shift is 2B Tuesday–Friday, with a base rate of $29.55/hr plus $1/hr shift differential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• 2-year vocational/technical certificate or degree in mechanical or electrical applications preferred.
• 3-5 years of related maintenance experience.
• Welding, burning, cutting experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific software packages (e.g., Crown PM, Gage) and equipment.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Strong safety awareness and LOTO experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems; follow PM standards.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to Maintenance leadership.
• Train junior technicians to elevate performance during troubleshooting and repairs.
• Work with outside vendors to complete DC projects safely and timely.
• Take on other duties to support DC operations.
