Job summary

Mercury Plastics is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the overnight shift (11 pm–7 am) in Middlefield, Ohio. You will maintain and repair production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, and a technical degree or cert. PLC, pneumatics, and hydraulic knowledge are a plus; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Three (3) years industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Technical degree, certification or equivalent trades training with emphasis on electrical and/or fluid power.
• Valid Driver’s License with transportation required.
• Self-starter, dependable, flexible and able to work with minimum supervision and guidance.
• Background and experience in electrical with PLCs, pneumatics & hydraulic knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform work safely and maintain a clean work environment.
• Identify and resolve work requests on production equipment and processes.
• Keep equipment in safe operating condition.
• Prioritize and manage multiple work areas across sites.
• Complete work orders, PM rounds, repairs, and general maintenance.
• Participate in safety and continuous improvement programs.
