Job summary

Gerdau Lancaster is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I for the 3rd shift to perform diverse maintenance tasks on plant equipment. You will diagnose problems, repair mechanical and electrical systems, and uphold production reliability.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in industrial maintenance, can lift up to 50 lbs, and work a 6pm–6am schedule, with a willingness to learn and grow. Benefits start immediately and growth opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 6pm–6am.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on plant equipment and facilities.
• Diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical/electrical systems.
• Maintain and execute preventive maintenance programs with supervision.
