Job summary

Dart Container in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic at multiple levels to diagnose, repair, install and modify plant and facility equipment, ensuring peak performance and uptime.

Three years of preventive maintenance and repair experience with industrial equipment are required; pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge is a plus. Shift options: 3:45pm–12:15am or 11:45pm–8:15am.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of preventive maintenance and repair experience, or comparable training.
• Experience with mechanical maintenance of industrial equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, analyze, maintain, modify, repair and/or rebuild plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to detect and prevent problems and keep machines running smoothly.
• Assist production with changeovers and setups.
• Dismantle defective machines to access problem areas or install parts.
