Job summary

Gibraltar is seeking a skilled Maintenance A to plan, layout and perform diversified installation, maintenance and repair operations to keep plant machinery and equipment in proper condition at our Lancaster, PA facility.

The role requires 5+ years as a maintenance mechanic, ability to read drawings, fabricate parts, and lead build and repair projects on 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 10:30 pm–7:00 am). We offer PTO, holidays, health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years as a maintenance mechanic or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read machine blueprints and fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, layout and perform installation, maintenance and repairs on plant machinery and auxiliaries.
• Read drawings and replace shafts, brackets and parts while maintaining tolerances.
• Work from manuals, requests and instructions; diagnose and repair faults.
• Use precision instruments and tools to dismantle, repair and reassemble equipment.
• Repair and maintain roll forming, stamping and related equipment.
• Periodically inspect equipment for preventative maintenance; keep maintenance records.
