Job summary

Perdue Foods, part of Perdue Farms, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III for a night shift at our South Carolina facility. You will diagnose complex issues, perform advanced repairs and lead preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and production uptime.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM. Candidates must bring required tools and be prepared to respond to emergencies within 30 minutes. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Strong reading, communication math, writing, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, conveyor systems and an aptitude for industrial machinery.
• Must be proficient in at least six (6) of the listed areas.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex issues and perform advanced repairs to keep equipment running.
• Lead preventive maintenance efforts to minimize downtime and support production continuity.
• Ensure shop areas are clean and safe; respond to emergencies within 30 minutes.
