Job summary

Perdue Foods seeks a Maintenance Technician III to join our plant team. This role focuses on advanced maintenance, diagnostics, and reliability improvements to keep plant operations safe and productive.

You will work with a diverse team to optimize equipment performance and reliability while pursuing on‑the‑job learning and further certifications. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a 5:00pm–4:00am shift and possible weekend needs to support business requirements.

Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Expert proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging.
• Intermediate proficiency with PLC.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Effective communication, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex machinery and perform preventive maintenance.
• Operate within safety and quality protocols to ensure production efficiency.
• Provide support to operators and collaborate with other technicians to solve problems.
• Assist in equipment setup and changeovers as needed.
• Maintain accurate work records and clear written reports.
• Adhere to plant safety standards and Perdue safety precautions.
