Job summary

Amcor seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to support and repair machinery in production areas, perform preventive maintenance, and manage parts using MRO systems. The role emphasizes safety, housekeeping, and GMP adherence in a fast-paced facility.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in high-speed assembly environments with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC expertise, plus teamwork and problem-solving skills to keep lines running.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLCs.
• Ability to fabricate and design parts.
• Proficient with computer-based work order tracking and MRO systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance on all machinery during shift.
• Troubleshoots plant maintenance issues as requested.
• Performs timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Ensures spare parts are stocked.
• Uses MRO/work order systems for tracking and parts management.
• Leads equipment improvement initiatives.
• Supports set-ups, start-ups, and qualifications.
