Job summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Lead for our Winchester, KY site. You will oversee shift mechanics and coordinate with process engineers to maintain high efficiency and compliance with cGMP standards.

The role emphasizes training, process improvement, and proactive maintenance strategies. The position requires leading cross-functional teams, reviewing work orders, and delivering standardized shift reports.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 3+ years in pharma/food/biotech/chemical manufacturing.
• Ability to troubleshoot simple hardware and software problems.
• Experience with pneumatic control systems and motor controls.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shift activities of maintenance mechanics across departments.
• Lead training for maintenance and engineering activities.
• Apply statistical methods to understand process variability and drive improvements.
• Identify bottlenecks, implement improvements, and develop contingency plans for capacity.
• Monitor equipment performance metrics and support investigations into plant issues.
