Job summary

Novartis Indianapolis is seeking a Maintenance Shift Supervisor to lead a skilled team supporting manufacturing and lab equipment in a highly regulated setting. You'll drive corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance while ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance on a night shift.

The role requires experience in GMP environments, strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and control systems, and ability to train technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on plant maintenance experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience supervising or coordinating maintenance activities in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and calibration activities across production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues with minimal supervision.
• Interpret diagrams and specs to plan maintenance.
• Support startup and 24x7 site operations and ensure compliance with quality standards.
