Job summary

Catalent's Winchester, KY site is a flagship U.S. manufacturing location for large-scale oral solid dose forms. We seek a Process Engineer to lead projects that improve manufacturing safety, efficiency, quality, and compliance. You will work on capital projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and new product introductions.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM. Location: Winchester, KY. 100% Onsite. You will collaborate across teams to deliver results, develop maintenance plans, and apply Six

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or related field.
• Proficient in English verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of Automation Controls and PLC.
• Ability to work with contractors and apply cGMP principles to project work.
• Fundamental understanding of project management methodologies including budgeting and scheduling.
• Strong organization and communication skills with engineers, customers, and site leadership.
• Ability to produce detailed project documentation and user requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize capital projects to improve site performance and efficiency in safety, cost, and quality.
• Guide specification and selection of process, utility, and facility equipment.
• Manage asset reliability risks that could impact plant or business operations.
• Develop systems to identify KPIs such as uptime, downtime, scrap, and yield.
• Manage continuous improvement project pipeline and prioritization.
• Organize, manage, and communicate technical progress to Business Development and Project Management.
• Collaborate with Project Engineering for reliability and maintainability of installations.
• Define, design, develop, and refine an Asset Maintenance Plan including preventive maintenance and predictive testing.
• Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures using data analysis tools (SPC, Reliability modeling, Six Sigma, RCA).
• Provide technical support to production, maintenance, and technical personnel.
• Determine equipment to meet customer demand and critical process parameters.
• Support manufacturing during critical process development for scaling to commercial processes.
• Perform other duties to support Catalent Pharma Solutions high performance.
