Job summary

Catalent’s Winchester, KY site seeks a Maintenance Lead to oversee shift mechanics, prioritize work orders, and lead small-scale process improvements. You will support process engineers and maintenance management to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with cGMP.

Role is 100% onsite with a 6 PM–6 AM shift and requires hands-on leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and strong problem-solving skills to maintain critical manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, food, biotechnology, or chemical manufacturing.
• Experience in programming operator interfaces.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Knowledge of pneumatic control systems and components.
• Experience with motor controls and VFDs.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with maintenance programs or calibration management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shift activities of maintenance mechanics across departments.
• Lead on-site training for maintenance and engineering activities.
• Apply statistical methods to understand process variability and drive improvements.
• Identify bottlenecks, implement improvements, and develop contingency plans.
• Monitor downtime and rejection trends for key equipment.
• Provide technical investigations related to maintenance and engineering issues.
