Electrical Automation Services in Ravenna, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a manufacturing facility. The role requires the ability to work independently on common issues and collaborate with the maintenance team on complex repairs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial maintenance, PLC troubleshooting experience, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or an associate’s degree preferred.
• Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent training/experience.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production equipment, electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and controls.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• PLC troubleshooting experience required; PLC programming a plus.
• Welding experience a plus.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with workplace safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and ladder logic reading.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
