Electrical Automation Services in Hiram, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a manufacturing setting. The role involves diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and reading ladder logic for PLCs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial maintenance, is adept with schematics, VFDs, sensors, and motor controls, and can follow safety and quality practices in a food manufacturing environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or an associate’s degree is preferred.
• Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production equipment, electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and controls.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• PLC troubleshooting experience required; PLC programming experience is a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and reading ladder logic to identify faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
