Job summary

TemperPack is seeking a Maintenance E&I Technician in Richmond, VA to ensure production assets are properly maintained and operated. You will work with the Maintenance Manager and Engineering to plan downtime, document logs, and troubleshoot issues on electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience with industrial equipment, knowledge of PLCs, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Requires HS diploma or GED; technical/vocational training preferred.
Experience with extrusion or lamination machines or similar processes is desirable.
Familiarity with industrial process equipment and instrumentation.
Knowledge of PLC ladder logic and editing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, repair industrial control and power distribution systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations on electrical, instrumentation, and process equipment.
Maintain instrumentation including analytical, flow, pressure, and level transmitters.
Keep maintenance logs, manuals, blueprints, and revision archives up to date.
Read manuals and schematics; troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs; perform equipment isolation and planned/unplanned maintenance.
