Job summary

Swagelok in Solon, OH is seeking an experienced Level 2 Machine Operator for 24/7 nights (6pm–6am) in our hardware machining facility. You will set-up and operate complex equipment, change tooling, inspect parts, and document results with minimal supervision.

Applicants should have 30+ months of machining experience (external) or be fully qualified Level 2 operators. The role requires safe operation, reliability, and the ability to work nights in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• External: 30+ months of machining experience.
• Internal: Fully qualified Level 2 Machine Operator.
• Advanced knowledge about metal or plastic cutting processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate machining equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform start-stop procedures including loading of raw material and machine shutdown.
• Make simple and advanced tooling and fixture changes and set-ups.
• Complete records and forms and check parts visually and dimensionally.
• Recognize and report machine malfunctions and part discrepancies to supervisor.
• Perform daily, semi-annual and annual machine maintenance.
