Job summary

Swagelok in Solon, Ohio is seeking a production associate for 24/7 nights (6pm - 6am). At this level you will run production lines, maintain quality, and perform routine tool adjustments to keep the process running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include machine start-stop, loading raw material, performing measurements with calipers, micrometers and gauges, documenting data, and reporting any discrepancies. A high school diploma and the ability to learn quickly are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Self-motivated and able to learn quickly in a manufacturing setting.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Makes accurate tooling adjustments and maintains operation of machining equipment safely and efficiently.
• Performs start-stop procedures including machine and conveyor start-up and shutdown.
• Performs adjustments to tooling and fixtures within prescribed limits.
• Completes records and data entry as required.
• Checks machined parts visually and dimensionally against quality standards.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance and reports malfunctions.
