Job summary

AmeriLux Family of Companies in Green Bay, WI, is hiring a Machine Operator for our brand new plant. You will set up, start, monitor, and adjust equipment to maintain quality production and on-time delivery.

We offer a sign-on bonus of $1,250, paid in increments (90 days, 190 days and 1 year), with 12-hour shifts from 5PM to 5AM. Overtime opportunities, on-site benefits, and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot machines.
• Ability to stand 12 hours consecutively.
• Ability to pull, lift, or carry at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform in a hot environment.
• Effective communication with team members and upper management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the material conveying process, including big bag or bulk offloading.
• Monitor and troubleshoot material feeding systems to maintain continuous and consistent material flow.
• Set up, start, operate, and shut down equipment, ensuring full project set-ups for quality production.
• Adjust machine controls throughout runtime to maintain optimal performance.
• Perform machine maintenance and adjustments to meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Respond to alarms and resolve issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency.
• Conduct thorough inspections throughout the production process to ensure finished products meet standards.
• Address and resolve processing issues to deliver customer requirements within business needs.

Join the A-Team at AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) as a Machine Operator in our brand new manufacturing plant!

Sign on bonus: $1,250.

Will be paid out in increments (90 days, 190 days and 1 year)

Strating pay $26-35/ hour

Depending on experience and shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the material conveying process, including big bag or bulk offloading
• Monitor and troubleshoot material feeding systems to maintain continuous and consistent material flow
• Set up, start, operate, and shut down equipment, ensuring full project set-ups for quality production
• Adjust machine controls throughout runtime to maintain optimal performance
• Perform machine maintenance and adjustments to meet product specifications and quality standards
• Respond to alarms and resolve issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency
• Conduct thorough inspections throughout the production process to ensure finished products meet standards
• Address and resolve processing issues to deliver customer requirements within business needs. Understand customer issues created by upstream processes from conveyance, forming, and cutting devices to ensure efficient and timely changeovers to minimize downtime
• Ensure proper waste disposal procedures to prevent environmental pollution

Shifts & Schedule

12-hour shifts: 5PM - 5AM

• Monday - Thursday OR Friday - Sunday
