Job summary

AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is hiring a Machine Operator for our brand new Green Bay plant. The role involves managing material conveyance, starting and stopping equipment, and maintaining production quality through continuous monitoring and adjustments.

The position offers a $1,250 sign-on bonus (paid in increments) and starting pay of $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience and shift. 12-hour shifts with overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot machines.
• Ability to stand for 12 hours consecutively.
• Ability to lift or carry at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a hot environment.
• Effective communication with team members and management.

Responsibilities

• Manage material conveying, including big bag or bulk offloading.
• Monitor and troubleshoot feeding systems for continuous flow.
• Set up, start, operate, and shut down equipment for quality production.
• Adjust machine controls to maintain optimal performance.
• Perform machine maintenance and adjustments per specs.
• Respond to alarms and resolve issues to maintain efficiency.
• Inspect production to ensure finished products meet standards.
• Address processing issues to meet customer requirements and minimize downtime.
• Ensure proper waste disposal to prevent environmental pollution.

Join the A-Team at AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) as a Machine Operator in our brand new manufacturing plant!

Sign on bonus: $1,250. Will be paid out in increments (90 days, 190 days and 1 year). Strating pay $25-35/ hour. Depending on experience and shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the material conveying process, including big bag or bulk offloading
• Monitor and troubleshoot material feeding systems to maintain continuous and consistent material flow
• Set up, start, operate, and shut down equipment, ensuring full project set-ups for quality production
• Adjust machine controls throughout runtime to maintain optimal performance
• Perform machine maintenance and adjustments to meet product specifications and quality standards
• Respond to alarms and resolve issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency
• Conduct thorough inspections throughout the production process to ensure finished products meet standards
• Address and resolve processing issues to deliver customer requirements within business needs. Understand customer issues created by upstream processes from conveyance, forming, and cutting devices to ensure efficient and timely changeovers to minimize downtime
• Ensure proper waste disposal procedures to prevent environmental pollution

Shifts & Schedule:

12-hour shifts

• Monday - Thursday 5AM - 5PM OR 5PM - 5AM
• Friday - Sunday 5AM - 5PM OR 5PM - 5AM

Overtime opportunities available
