Job summary

AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is seeking a Machine Operator for our brand new Green Bay plant. The role features 12-hour shifts (Fri–Sun) with 5 AM–5 PM or 5 PM–5 AM, and a starting pay of $21–$25/hour, plus a $1,250 sign-on bonus paid in increments at 90 days, 190 days, and 1 year.

You will manage material conveying, set up and operate equipment, monitor feeds, perform maintenance, respond to alarms, and ensure product quality while meeting customer requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform manual handling.
• Work in hot manufacturing environments with safety in mind.
• Strong communication with team and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage the material conveying process, including big bag or bulk offloading.
• Monitor and troubleshoot material feeding systems to maintain continuous and consistent material flow.
• Set up, start, operate, and shut down equipment, ensuring full project set-ups for quality production.
• Adjust machine controls throughout runtime to maintain optimal performance.
• Perform machine maintenance and adjustments to meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Respond to alarms and resolve issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency.
• Conduct thorough inspections throughout the production process to ensure finished products meet standards.
• Address and resolve processing issues to deliver customer requirements within business needs. Understand customer issues created by upstream processes from conveyance, forming, and cutting devices to ensure efficient and timely changeovers to minimize downtime.
• Ensure proper waste disposal procedures to prevent environmental pollution.

Sign on bonus: $1,250.

Will be paid out in increments (90 days, 190 days and 1 year)

Strating pay $21-25/ hour

Depending on experience and shift.

Key Responsibilities:
