Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is looking for a production operator to run machinery in the dry mix plant and support daily production schedules. The role requires reading specifications, adjusting equipment, and maintaining safety and cleanliness across assigned areas.

The position emphasizes independence, the ability to interpret manuals, and the physical capacity to stand for long periods and lift up to 100 lbs. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery in the dry mix plant as needed.
• Read specifications to determine adjustments and material needs.
• Maintain set parameters for dryers and other equipment.
• Load material bins to meet daily production schedules.
• Receive bulk aggregates from truckloads and perform routine maintenance.
• Start up machinery for daily production and keep areas clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
