Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Mason, Ohio is seeking a Machine Operator II for the night shift (6:48pm–7am, rotating 2/2/3). The Operator will run plastic blow molding machines, perform adjustments and minor repairs to ensure safe, efficient production of high-quality containers.

You will follow safety and quality policies, participate in continuous improvement, assist with mold and color changes, monitor resin and dryers, and help train new operators.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong attendance and reliability required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in basic computer usage.

Responsibilities

• Operate a number of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform mold, insert and color changes on the line.
• Monitor resin, dryer, and color systems for processing conditions.
• Conduct on-time quality checks against established standards.
• Assist in training new Operators and maintenance personnel.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Communicate production needs to shift supervisors.
• Limited travel may be required.
