Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Mason, Ohio is seeking a Machine Operator I for the night shift (6:48pm–7:00am, rotating 2/2/3). You will operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and related equipment to produce containers safely and with high quality.

Responsibilities include adjusting and maintaining line performance, performing color and mold changes, supporting preventive maintenance, training new Operators, and keeping accurate production records while following safety and GMP policies.

Qualifications

• Attendance must be regular, predictable, and punctual.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while providing good service.
• Able to work independently and complete assignments.
• Effective communication of facts and information.

Responsibilities

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and related equipment safely.
• Perform mold, insert and color changes on the line.
• Conduct basic processing to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Communicate processing information to the shift team and supervisors.
• Assist in training new Operators.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects.
• Perform preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Monitor material handling systems and colors for processing conditions.
• Limited travel may be required.
