Job summary

Conagra Brands in Indianapolis is seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team. You will operate equipment to produce quality products, perform cleaning, and support packaging and processing areas on-site at our West 62nd Street plant.

The role runs 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with an hourly rate of $24.67 plus a $0.30 shift differential. Overtime up to 4 hours before or after shifts is common, and you will follow SQF and GMP guidelines while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Desire to work in a food manufacturing environment.
• Availability to work overtime, typically up to 4 hours before or after a scheduled shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate plant machinery and perform preventative and corrective maintenance to help exceed planned performance measures.
• Perform quality checks according to established procedures.
• Partner with the Line Lead to identify cross‑training opportunities.
• Follow all training documents for your assigned line.
• Participate in equipment and production‑area cleaning processes.
• Communicate with the Line Lead and Maintenance to ensure issues with assigned equipment are addressed promptly.
• Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) requirements.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Operations Manager.
