Job summary

Clasen Quality Chocolate, Inc. is hiring for a Junior Technician in Milton, WI. The role involves reading coating recipes, producing bulk and finished coating under GMP, HACCP, and safety procedures, and handling materials with a focus on teamwork and flexibility.

The position supports a state-of-the-art facility with a rotating schedule: nights (4:55pm-5:25am) or days (4:55am-5:25pm), with built-in overtime and potential double-time on optional extra shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus 3 years of complex industrial experience.
• Food manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
• Past experience lifting 55 lbs is preferred.
• Knowledge of Excel, Plant Control Systems, and Navision or similar systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Read recipe and add ingredients to mixer or bulk tank using the PCS.
• Test samples at various production stages and adjust ingredients as needed.
• Operate pret Refiners, refiners, and conches to achieve target fineness and viscosity.
• Manage packaging equipment and complete required paperwork.
