Pay and Shift Schedule
- Pay starts at $24.10/hour + $1.50 shift premium
- Current Shift Schedule (2026): 3rd (Night), Monday‑Friday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM (flexible pending business needs)
- Future Shift Schedule (2027): Transition to a 12‑hour night or day shift schedule. Further details will be provided.
Description of Role
Machine Operators (Team Members) function as an expert member of a manufacturing area team responsible for the efficient production of quality products.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- 1+ year’s experience in manufacturing
- Proficiency in software systems including MS Office and e‑mail
Physical Requirements
- Perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Frequent lifting/carrying (10‑50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50‑300 lbs)
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
- Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours.
- Capable of working in non‑climate‑controlled areas including hot, cold and wet conditions.
- Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree or certifications
- 2+ years experience in a manufacturing setting operating a variety of machines
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Knowledge of inventory control principles
- Experience with SAP or other warehouse management system
Key Responsibilities
- Performs activities and job tasks within a manufacturing line or area.
- Operates equipment and changeovers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Takes corrective actions in solving problems to root‑cause level.
- Able to assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustments, and malfunction troubleshooting.
- Performs and/or works with Maintenance to complete equipment preventative maintenance (PM).
- Performs quality control (QC) tasks such as metal checks, inspection of date codes, item numbers, dump logs, etc.
- Maintains accurate records of quality checks and keeps detailed logbooks.
- Any ad hoc tasks.
