Job summary

CenExel Clinical Research in California is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for the graveyard shift to oversee daily clinical study activities, coordinate with the Sponsor, and document information accurately and ethically throughout the research process.

The role requires providing nursing care, reviewing protocols, maintaining study documents, and coordinating specimen handling while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with a current license in the state in which the employee will be working.
• Must be capable of performing all clinical tasks relevant to licensure and/or training.
• Must be able to clearly communicate verbally with patients.
• Must have good interpersonal skills, demonstrated through interactions with patients, staff, Sponsor representatives, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing care to study participants as necessary; including vitals, blood sugar, vital signs, lab tests.
• Reviews and executes clinical research protocols.
• Completes and maintains study documents in accordance with sponsor and site requirements.
• Possible recruitment of potential study subjects.
• Screens subjects for eligibility and schedules study assessments as designated.
