Job summary

CenExel Clinical Research is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to oversee daily clinical study activities and serve as the liaison between the investigative site and sponsor. You will document information accurately and ethically throughout the clinical research process. Shifts are 6 pm to 6 am, PRN.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a current license in the state where the employee will work.
• Ability to clearly communicate verbally with patients.
• Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated through interactions with patients, staff, Sponsor representatives, etc.
• Self-motivated and able to perform tasks independently.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing care to study participants; includes monitoring vitals, lab tests, and glucose.
• Reviews and executes clinical research protocols.
• Completes and maintains study documents per sponsor/site requirements.
• Potential recruitment of study subjects.
• Screens subjects for eligibility and schedules assessments per protocol.
• Completes Case Report Forms in line with source documents.
• Maintains communication with sponsor during visits.
• Maintains inventory of data and supplies.
• Attends training and initiation meetings and other study start-up meetings.
• Observes and reports adverse events and serious adverse events.
• Conducts informed consent per CenExel SOPs.
• Follows up on laboratory results.
• Maintains study logs and site relations.
