Parkland Community Health Plan seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse for the night shift to provide total nursing care under supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will screen, assess, and deliver treatments per physician orders, while maintaining patient safety and quality standards in our West Tower unit.

Ideal candidates hold a TX LVN license (or Compact license), BLS certification, and can communicate effectively with staff, patients and families.

Formación

• Graduate of accredited LVN program and TX license.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• No prior professional experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Screen and prioritize patients and deliver timely treatments per orders.
• Assist with inpatient/clinic flow and discharge activities.
• Maintain compliance with nursing laws, policies, and Joint Commission standards.
• Document care and communicate with the care team.
• Educate patients and families as needed.
• Assist with supplies, cleaning and sterilization.
• Mentor new staff and students as directed.
• Set up appointments and referrals as needed.
