Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a full-time, night shift position at a 16-bed small-format hospital in Fort Worth, TX. The LVN works under the RN and supports the patient care plan with safe, compassionate nursing care.

The role requires a valid LVN/LPN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and English fluency. Night/Weekend shift differentials and other benefits apply. The PA-specific clearances noted in the posting are not required by all jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Two years of LVN/LPN experience in an acute care setting.
• Current license as LVN/LPN in the state of practice.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification from the American Heart Association, required.
• Pedagogy IV Certification must be completed within 30 days of hire.
• Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication.
• Pennsylvania LVN's: Act 33 and Act 73 clearances completed within the last 5 years, or must be obtained prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients under supervision.
• Performs nursing duties to support the patient care plan and organizational policies.
• Completes accurate documentation of patient care reflecting the plan of care.
• Administers medications per organization policies.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and health care team to plan and coordinate care.
