Job summary

Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an overnight LPN for weekend shifts. You will provide bedside nursing, monitor vitals, administer medications, and collaborate with RNs and physicians to ensure safe, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Kentucky.
• At least one year of LPN experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to patients, including personal hygiene maintenance.
• Record vital signs (BP, pulse, respirations).
• Collect health information from patients.
• Relay information between patients, RNs, and physicians.
• Administer oral medications and injections.
• Test patients' blood sugar levels.
• Urinary catheter insertion and care.
• Wound care and dressing changes.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene.
• Monitor for changes in patients' condition.
• Chart and maintain patients' medical records accurately.
• Ask questions for clarification from RNs when in doubt.
• Serve as a role model for ancillary personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
