Job summary

Good Samaritan Larimore is seeking an LPN to provide professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting on a night shift. The role requires an active LPN license and supports care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.

Responsibilities include administering medications, assisting with treatments, and documenting care while partnering with residents and families to promote health and safety. Night shifts with weekend rotation are included in the schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the lifespan or 400 hours of experience as an LPN.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Assist with medications and treatments as ordered.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and health care team, maintaining confidentiality.

Education

Graduate from accredited practical nursing program (LPN)

Associate degree in practical nursing (preferred)

Pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience or 400 hours as LPN

Current unencumbered LPN license
