Job summary
Good Samaritan Larimore is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting. You will work under supervision, administer medications and treatments, and contribute to care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
Night shift, 12-hour shifts, full-time schedule with rotation for weekends/holidays. ND-specific IV therapy training may be required and an LPN license is mandatory. Competitive benefits offered.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN.
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
- ND requires IV therapy training or approved IV course.
- Minimum 400 hours of supervised clinical LPN experience.
- Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with state board.
- Maintains required competencies and certifications.
- Completes annual CEU and competency training.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care and medications.
- Work with an interdisciplinary team to implement care plans.
- Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly with residents and staff.
