Job summary

Good Samaritan Larimore seeks an LPN to provide professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting, under supervision, ensuring safety and high-quality care. The role requires active LPN licensure and 400+ hours or a board-approved IV therapy credential where applicable.

The position is full-time, with 12-hour day shifts (7:00am–7:30pm) and every other weekend/holiday rotation. Competitive benefits and the potential for daily earnings access accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• If IV therapy is required in ND, graduate from a board-approved AASPN program with IV therapy or complete an approved IV Therapy course.
• Pre-licensure program with supervised clinicals or 400 hours as LPN at another facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly within an interdisciplinary team.
• Assess residents, document interactions and outcomes, and respond to emergent situations.
• Maintain department competencies and complete annual CEU and training.
