Good Samaritan Larimore is seeking an LPN for long-term care services in a dedicated Christian environment. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care to residents under supervision, administers medications, and supports the care team to maintain high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes patient safety, accurate documentation, and collaboration with physicians and RNs; night shifts, full-time schedule, and opportunities for advancement are included.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; LPN license required.
ND IV therapy requirement if applicable: board-approved program or IV course.
Experience: 400 hours as LPN or supervised across lifespan.
Unencumbered LPN license with state or multi-state licensure; maintain competencies and CEUs.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care under supervision of RN/physician.
Administer medications and treatments per care plan.
Assess residents and document outcomes; maintain confidentiality.
Communicate with residents, families, and health care team.

Education

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

Associate degree in Practical Nursing preferred

Pre-licensure nursing program with clinical experience or 400 hours as LPN

IV therapy certification (ND)
