Job summary

Good Samaritan Larimore, a not-for-profit provider of senior care, is seeking an LPN for full-time, 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts. The role involves delivering professional nursing care in a long-term care setting under the supervision of a RN or physician, and ensuring resident safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with an active LPN license, able to work 7:00am–7:30pm and every other weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• IV therapy/management skills as required in ND.
• Pre-licensure program with supervised clinical experience or 400 hours as LPN.
• Unencumbered LPN license with state board.
• Annual CEU and competency training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Assess residents and participate in care planning.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary team and families.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
