Qualifications

• Active Michigan LPN license.
• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work effectively under time requirements and deadlines.
• Proficiency with computer systems for documenting patient care.
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of the RN and in accordance with department policies.
• Administer medications (excluding IV) as ordered by the physician and delegated by the RN.
• Document care, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the RN.
• Assist with patient transport, hygiene, and activities of daily living as needed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and maintain a respectful, culturally sensitive approach.
