Job summary

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Saginaw, MI, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Night Shift on a resource/PRN basis. The LPN will work under the RN, providing direct patient care, administering medications (non-IV), and documenting care. Eligibility includes an active Michigan LPN license, graduation from an approved program, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan LPN license required.
• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in rehabilitation setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision in a night shift.
• Administer medications per physician orders, excluding IV meds.
• Document care and vital signs in patient records in a timely manner.
• Assist with patient transports and coordination of therapies.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and equipment as per policy.
