Job summary

Peninsula Behavioral Health, a division of Covenant Health, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to support psychiatric services in admitting and registration. You will provide patient care under the supervision of an RN, maintain a safe, therapeutic environment, and assist in coordinating the admission process.

The role includes medication administration, adherence to the Treatment Plan, and participation in discharge planning while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• Current license as Licensed Practical Nurse in Tennessee.
• Previous experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
• Ability to work under RN supervision in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care under the clinical direction of the RN.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment as part of the patient care team.
• Administer medications and document accurately per policy.
