Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Med Surg unit in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment offers night shifts with a pay range of $40.00–$50.00 per hour, gross weekly pay between $1,680 and $2,100.

Responsibilities include bedside care, monitoring patient status, IV therapy and blood draws, and collaboration with RNs and physicians. A current BLS and active LPN/LVN license are required.

Qualifications

• LPN or LVN license required.
• IV and BW certifications required.
• BLS certification current upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment.
• Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support care plans and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
