Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Nights shift with weekly pay and competitive compensation.

The role involves bedside patient care in a Med Surg unit, monitoring vitals, administering medications, IV therapy, and collaborating with RNs and physicians to support patient throughput and safety. Maine-specific compensation details apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of LPN Med Surg experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment.
• Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support care plans and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
