Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shifts in Lewiston, Maine, in a Med Surg unit. Responsibilities include bedside care, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws, with collaboration among the care team.

This 12-week assignment offers weekly pay and a compensation range of $40–$50 per hour. Candidates must have an LPN license, IV and BW certifications, BLS, and 6–12 months of Med Surg experience.

Qualifications

• LPN or LVN license active and in good standing.
• IV and BW certifications required.
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• 6 months to 1 year of Med Surg experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment.
• Monitor vital signs and clinical changes.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support care plans and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety and infection control.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
