Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide bedside nursing care to residents in a neighborhood setting. You will work under nursing standards and Erickson Senior Living guidelines to support physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs, placing residents first.

Qualified candidates have Colorado LPN licensure, CPR, and at least 1 year in assisted living or long-term care; EMR

Qualifications

• Colorado LPN license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Passion for senior care and resident advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Assess, observe, and document residents' clinical condition in the EMR, notify provider as needed.
• Update or modify care plans to reflect changes in care needs.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications timely, accurately, and according to orders.
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Respond to residents, families, or responsible parties professionally.
• Review clinical indicators (falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader.
