Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, CO, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide clinical care to residents in the neighborhood in accordance with nursing standards of practice and Erickson Senior Living standards. The position offers evening hours, a rotating schedule from 7pm to 11pm, and orientation during the first week.

LPN licensure in Colorado and CPR certification are required, with EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed by Colorado as LPN.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, placing resident first.
• Assess and document resident conditions in EMR, notify RN/provider as needed.
• Update care plans to reflect changes in resident needs.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications timely and accurately.
• Participate in meetings on resident outcomes and care.
• Respond to residents and families professionally and promptly.
• Review clinical indicators such as falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use.
