Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, CO seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide clinical care for residents in the neighborhood, adhering to nursing standards and Erickson Senior Living guidelines.

The role includes administering medications, SIS, assessing residents, updating care plans, and supervising care staff. Colorado LPN license and CPR are required; 1 year in senior care preferred. Night shift differential applies.

Qualifications

• Licensed by Colorado as an LPN.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families with a caregiver approach.
• Assess, observe, and document residents' clinical condition and notify RN when necessary.
• Update care plans as needs change.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications timely, accurately, and according to orders.
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Respond to residents or families in a timely and professional manner.
• Support review of clinical indicators (falls, wounds, nutrition, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader.
