Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for evening coverage. The role provides clinical care to residents per nursing standards and Erickson Senior Living guidelines. Night shift differential applies.

Requirements include Colorado LPN license and CPR, with 1 year of long-term care or similar experience preferred. EMR experience is a plus; orientation week is required.

Qualifications

• Colorado LPN license required and CPR certification must be current.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health or long-term care preferred.
• Passion for seniors and strong resident advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Assess and monitor residents' clinical condition and document findings in EMR.
• Update care plans to reflect changes in care needs.
• Supervise and lead care associates
• Administer medications timely and accurately per orders
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care
• Respond promptly to residents, families, or responsible parties
• Participate in clinical reviews (falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotics, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader
