Job summary
Hendricks Community Hospital Association is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our long term care team in Hendricks, MN. Night shift runs 6pm to 6:30am with weekend/holiday rotation. Starting wage is $27.10 per hour, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered.
New graduates are welcome to apply. We provide comprehensive benefits and a student loan reimbursement of $200 per month for nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of MN-accredited nursing program and licensed as an LPN.
- Previous geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- Responsible for assessing, planning and implementing resident needs.
- Monitors and administers medications per policy; follows physician orders.
- Strong communication with medical staff; confidentiality required.
- Demonstrates leadership, initiative and adaptability.
Responsibilities
- Assess and plan resident care needs and implement care plans.
- Administer and monitor medications in accordance with policies.
- Communicate with medical staff to ensure quality care.
- Maintain EMR documentation and resident records.
- Support shifts with flexible scheduling and emergencies.
