Job summary
Hendricks Community Hospital in Hendricks, MN is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our long-term care team. The night shift runs 6pm–6:30am with weekend and holiday rotation and a starting wage of $27.10/hour, plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
New graduates are welcome to apply and a student loan reimbursement program is available. The ideal candidate will be MN-licensed, with geriatric nursing experience preferred, strong leadership, and solid EMR skills to support
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Minnesota.
- Previous experience in geriatric nursing preferred.
- Strong leadership, initiative, and independent judgment skills required.
- Computer experience and proficiency required to maintain EMR.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement resident needs to ensure quality care.
- Update and contribute to the resident care plan.
- Obtain, administer, and monitor medications per policies.
- Communicate with medical staff to ensure prompt, high-quality care.
- Carry out physician orders and respond to changing situations.
