Job summary

Hendricks Community Hospital Association is seeking a qualified LPN to join our compassionate team in Hendricks, MN. The night shift runs from 6pm to 6:30am, with weekend and holiday rotation.

New grads are welcome. Starting wage is $27.10 per hour, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and student loan reimbursement of $200 monthly. You will assess and care for residents, administer medications, and maintain EMR records.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Minnesota.
• Experience in geriatric nursing preferred.
• Assess, plan and implement resident needs ensuring quality care.
• Input and updates on resident care plan; ensure plan is followed.
• Administer medications per facility policies and procedures; communicate with medical staff.

Hendricks Hospital is looking for a LPN to join our compassionate and dedicated team in Long Term Care!

Our nurses are responsible for providing the highest quality care for our residents. Hendricks Hospital is an independent healthcare facility located in Hendricks, MN.

Night shift: 6pm to 6:30am

Weekend and shift differentials available. Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required

Starting wage: $27.10 an hour dependent on experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Minnesota
• Previous experience in geriatric nursing preferred.
• Responsible for assessing, planning and implementing resident needs ensuring quality resident care.
• Provides input and updates on resident care plan ensuring car plan is followed.
• Obtains, administers and monitors effectiveness of medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Communicates with medical staff to ensure prompt quality care and carries out physician orders as directed.
• Strong leadership, initiative, and independent judgment skills required.
• Flexibility to handle changing situations and emergency needs.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Computer experience and proficiency required to maintain EMR.
• Job involves moderate to heavy physical work. Frequent standing, bending, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting weights in excess of 25 pounds.
