PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in the Adams County Adult Correctional Complex in Gettysburg, PA.

This full-time night shift role (6:00pm – 6:00am) focuses on providing comprehensive nursing care and maintaining electronic medical records within a correctional health care setting. The ideal candidate will hold PA LPN licensure, demonstrate clinical competency, and communicate effectively with inmates and staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN in Pennsylvania with current credentials.
• Ability to communicate effectively with inmates and staff.
• Demonstrate clinical competency and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care and ensure proper information flow to staff.
• Maintain and secure electronic medical records.
• Record controlled substances and sharps per laws.
• Conduct sick calls and treat illnesses per protocol.
• Document symptoms, progress, and plan of care; participate in care planning.
• Administer medications and document administration.
• Attend MAT and IDT meetings weekly.
